Dr. Ricky Cornish is a general dentist practicing at Rock Family Dental in Highland, Arkansas.
Dr. Ricky Cornish was born and raised in Monette, AR. After high school, he joined the US Navy and served as a Hospital Corpsman for four years. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology at Arkansas State University (ASU) in Jonesboro, AR. He went on to complete his dental schooling at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN. He started practicing dentistry in Mountain Home, AR. More recently, Dr. Cornish has lived and worked in West Plains, MO, and is looking forward to heading back to Arkansas and practicing near his hometown.
During his dental career, Dr. Cornish earned the first Pre-Dental scholarship at ASU and was the first dentist to win the West Plains Chamber of Commerce Customer Service Award. He is currently an active member of the Missouri Dental Association (MDA), American Dental Association (ADA),
Dr. Cornish had a clear aspiration to build a career in healthcare from the outset. His tenure as a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy exposed him to various responsibilities, including dental care, which promptly ignited his determination to follow this path professionally. “I enjoy getting to know patients and helping them achieve and maintain good oral health. This career is very rewarding.”
Married and the father of two boys, Dr. Cornish’s passion for preserving smiles is only matched by his love for travel. Alongside his family, he has taken pleasure in journeying to state and national parks across the nation.
